Montréal, July 4th, 2019 – Since its very first edition, the Fantasia International Film Festival has always been able to count on the support of many sponsors, partners, and advertisers. For our 22nd edition, our event brought together a series of partners, including several who have been loyal to us for many years.
This year marks the return of our presenting sponsor. Indeed, Vidéotron is officially presenting FANTASIA 2019. The Canadian leader in telecommunications and entertainment, Vidéotron is always looking out for state-of-the-art technologies to offer the best experience to its clients. For the occasion, the subscription video-on-demand platform of the company, Club illico, will offer again this year a Fantasia section, featuring a selection of some films that marked the latest editions of the festival or that will definitely be enjoyed by the Fantasia public. In 2018, more than 30,000 people ordered at least one of the promoted films.
Desjardins is proud to partner with the Fantasia International Film Festival for the next three years as the co-presenter of the festival, thus contributing to the cultural influence of Montréal. “As a cooperative, our mission is to enrich the lives of people and communities. Reaching that objective is possible thanks to our members who trust us and entrust their assets. True to our values and our desire to make a difference in our communities, we are proud to take part in the Fantasia Festival.” - Louise Bergeron, General Manager, Caisse Desjardins du Quartier-Latin de Montréal.
For this new edition, Fantasia is thrilled to welcome new sponsoring partners, including Café Van Houtte, High on Love, Motive Studios, My Air Bridge, VR project Northern Sights, Spamflix, St-Ambroise, and Via Rail.
Spamflix says: “We’re thrilled to be partners of the Fantasia International Film Festival, which is a perfect match with Spamflix’s content and audience. It will be a pleasure to discover a rich lineup of shorts from Quebec and offer the opportunity to the filmmakers to be part of Fantasia’s Quebec Shorts Program 2019, to be featured on our platform from early 2020, worldwide.”
