For its 18th programme, DJ XL5 unfolds a kaleidoscope of short films, interspersing them with bursts of static, film clips and other cultural samples to simulate a festive evening of TV-watching with the gang. In total, 26 short films from all over the world are included. This programme marks the return of numerous friends and co-conspirators of DJ XL5. The emblematic SIMON'S CAT by English filmmaker Simon Tofield comes back with two short films to make the crowd meow, and Spain’s David Muñoz celebrates THE LAST CHRISTMAS OF THE UNIVERSE, making its Canadian premiere (3rd part of a trilogy composed of BRUTAL RELAX, 2010, and FIST OF JESUS, 2012).
